Terms of Service
AGREEMENT
These terms are between you and Lockedintool (South Africa). By using Lockedintool you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
WHO CAN USE IT
You must be 18 or older and able to make a legal agreement. One person per account; keep your phone secure, because your account lives on it.
AUTOMATIC UPDATES
Using Lockedintool means agreeing that it keeps itself up to date: new versions install automatically.
SUBSCRIPTION
Without a plan you can use the Dashboard for free. Basic adds the Money, Wallet and Focus pages and Lockedintool calls (voice, video and group calls); Premium adds everything else (more pages and rows). Calls aren’t part of the free plan - phone calls from the dial pad are your phone’s own and always work.
Basic is $5 a month and Premium $15 a month. Changes to prices will be announced before they apply.
In South Africa plans are charged in rand (shown before you pay - currently R95 and R285) through Stitch and approved by you on your own bank’s or card’s page. One payment gives 30 days of your plan; paying the same plan again adds 30 days. These plans don’t renew by themselves - you pay each month.
Outside South Africa plans are charged in US dollars (your bank may show it in your own currency) and sold through Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), which takes the payment on its own page - card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay - and handles your country’s sales tax. A plan renews by itself every month until you cancel; cancel any time with the link in Lemon Squeezy’s email, and your plan runs to the end of the month already paid.
Before you pay you can cancel or switch plans at any time. Once a payment is made it is not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
We may change prices or what a plan includes; you will be told in the app before it affects you.
LOCKEDINTOOL AS YOUR SYSTEM
If you switch on “Lockedintool as your system” (on the Subscription page), your phone only uses Lockedintool: other apps, the phone’s home screen and its app list are closed as soon as they open. Phone calls, emergency calls, the lock screen and the phone’s own panel keep working. It turns off only when you log out or delete your account. It needs Lockedintool system actions switched on.
TRADING - PLEASE READ
Lockedintool is not a broker, not a financial adviser and does not give investment advice. It is only a gateway to your own account at your own broker: your broker agreement is between you and your broker, and deposits and withdrawals always stay with them.
Orders you place in Lockedintool are sent to your broker exactly as you place them. You are responsible for every trade. Trading is risky and you can lose more than you put in.
Prices, charts and balances come from your broker and TradingView and can be late, wrong or unavailable. We are not responsible for losses caused by markets, your broker, TradingView, your connection or app downtime.
MONEY AND WALLET
By using Lockedintool you agree that it reads your bank and card details - your payments, balances and the last 4 digits of your cards and accounts - from your bank’s notifications and messages on your phone and, when you connect your bank, from your bank through Stitch, to show them to you in Money and Wallet.
Money and Wallet are built from your bank’s notifications and messages (or, if you connect your bank, what your bank shares through Stitch), so they can be incomplete or wrong - they are not bank statements. Check with your bank before relying on them.
Tap to Pay uses your phone’s own payment app. When sending money is available it goes from your bank account straight into theirs through our payment partner; Lockedintool never holds your money.
MESSAGES, GROUPS AND CALLS
You own what you post. You let us carry and show it so the app can work (for example, posts in public groups are visible to everyone).
Not allowed: sexual or adult content, harassment, threats, illegal content, scams, malware or anything meant to harm a device or a person. We may remove content and warn, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
You can block anyone (they can’t message or call you, see your profile or statuses, or find you - and aren’t told) and report profiles, chats, statuses, posts, comments and groups. Lockedintool reviews every report; nobody - not the person reported and not Lockedintool’s review - sees who reported. The person gets an automatic warning saying how many reports came in about what, and if Lockedintool removes something they’re told why. Reporting a chat sends us the last messages that person sent you, so we can see what happened - nothing else from your chats is ever readable by us.
The dial pad places normal phone calls through your mobile network; your network’s charges apply. For emergencies, use your phone’s own dialer if anything doesn’t work.
OTHER SERVICES
Your brokers, TradingView, Lemon Squeezy, Stitch, your bank and other apps you open from Lockedintool have their own terms, which apply when you use them.
THE APP
Lockedintool, its name, logo and design belong to Lockedintool. Don’t copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app or misuse our servers.
We work to keep Lockedintool running, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable, change or have mistakes.
RESPONSIBILITY
As far as the law allows, Lockedintool is not liable for any losses or damages, including indirect losses and lost profits, and does not pay compensation. Nothing here removes your rights under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act.
ENDING
You can stop using Lockedintool at any time by tapping Stop and removing the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
CHANGES AND LAW
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and big changes are shown in the app. These terms follow the laws of South Africa.
